| Quantcast | AlexaBased in Bristol, England UK, we import drums, xylophones, bells and shakers from some of the most renowned instrument makers in Ghana, stock Djembe, Kpanlogo and Bougarabou of many sizes and over twenty other drums – as well as some of the most beautiful xylophones in West Africa. We reskin, repair and tune all our instruments & run music workshops for drumming and for xylophone playing. Ghana Goods works in the following ways: Stability of Employment – We work with producers on a long term basis, providing continuous employment for over thirty Ghanaian instrument makers and apprentices throughout the year. Fair Price – paying a fair price for the goods enables a living wage, training & apprenticeship schemes, decent working conditions, buying and repairing of machinery & tools etc. Sustainable Resources – Using only soft woods in the making of all the drums.
